DESCRIPTION
We've made plenty of progress on site over the past few days, but one thing has the team scratching their heads. Finds have been few and far between, which is a real surprise considering previous excavations just a few feet away produced such a wealth of artefacts.
As we dig deeper into the trenches, we're starting to reveal more of the ard marks that first appeared towards the end of last week. It's slow, careful work, with Dani and Jan patiently trowelling and probing away as they try to piece together what's going on beneath the surface.
