For those on the Els romance path you've seen somewhat of a change in her since around Part Six.
Internally I've often thought of Els as very "catlike", friendly if a bit aloof. However if she's decided that you're "her person" she becomes very affectionate, a draper one might say. I really like this, as it allows me to have a bit of fun with her. Els is a very deliberate person and I think that extends to how she shows affection, when she seeks physical proximity she wants to tell you, "You're mine, I'll always have you." or if she's doing it in front of certain people she might be saying "He's mine, if you want him, come and claim him." Dunno I'm probably over thinking it, I probably just enjoy rendering her in increasingly funny positions. And of course the running gag that you just can't headpat her continues.
