Hey hey!
As you can see above, I did not know how to title this post properly. I mean, I'll be talking about Update 15 soon enough, but since Update 14 just came out a week and a half ago, I've been taking a small "break" from it to instead do some quick work on the next Demon Within Shelter crossover chapter!
This devlog's main purpose was to keep you all informed about that in particular! But, well, I will take the opportunity to talk a little bit about it, too, for those who are interested. :)
Rest assured that Update 15 work is already kind of ongoing, in a way! Blain and I have been preparing some of the assets for that alongside the ones for Update 14. That's because those events were all pre-planned, and I didn't know exactly what the cut-off point between updates was going to end up being. Things are moving in that regard as well, but we'll have a devlog for that in itself later!
For now, let's talk about our black, edgy wolf friend.
I know it's been a while since the last Demon Within Shelter chapter, but since this next chapter will take place in the Weary Soldier tavern in its majority, I knew that the assets (especially the backgrounds) that we were preparing for Update 14's events would be very nice to have for this chapter. And now they're here!
I've been working closely with Raus for the events of this one, and I think it'll be nice to see some people we actually didn't get to see too much in the main story of Demons Within. The bartender, Helen the fox... And I think this chapter will have a lot of fun stuff for Alon to deal with that highlights many differences between the worlds of Shelter and Demons Within.
Not only that, of course. There'll be serious moments, there'll be horny moments. We'll have it all!
The chapter is already about halfway written. Though both Raus and I aimed for these chapters to be small, they always end up being bigger than expected. This one is aiming to be almost full-update sizes as well. Oof...
But! It will be awesome!
