Hi everyone. We're already halfway through the month and we wanted to show you what we've been working on in the studio, as well as have a little chat with you about how things are going and our plans for the future.
The Adventurer & our new addition
As you can see in the images, the Greek Hoplites and the Temple ruins are looking incredible. This month, Aniol is at the helm of this faction. Being one of the latest additions to our sculpting team, he still needs a bit of time to adapt and match our usual production speed. Because of this, there has been a slight shift in our release schedule. We hate to make you wait, but looking at the level of detail and realism he is achieving, we are sure the final result will more than make up for the delay.
The Bannerman: A very thematic month
On the Bannerman side, we keep pushing forward with the Tor Rufane elves. Alongside the Griffon and the cavalry, we've included some themed archers that fit perfectly with that mix of lions and Greco-Roman aesthetics. In the end, almost unintentionally, we've ended up with a super thematic and classical month across both factions that will look amazing on the tabletop.
Straight talk about the numbers
Changing the subject a bit, we wanted to talk to you about the state of the Patreon with complete transparency. We won't lie to you: over the last year, our numbers haven't been great. It's not just us; it's a general trend across almost all 3D miniature Patreons, likely due to market saturation and the overall international instability. Right now, the situation isn't dramatic at all—the project is still going strong—but we are aware that if we just sit back and do nothing, it could become a problem.
That's why we're considering making a move and opening a new Tier in the coming months. Just to be absolutely clear: we are not abandoning fantasy at all. What we want is to open a new path to explore other settings and bring something different to the project.
Our idea is to dive into something very "grim dark" sci-fi or straight-up Diesel Punk. We want to create warbands or commandos designed for small-scale tactical skirmish games, but completely stepping away from what brands like 40k usually do. We want to offer something with its own unique identity, featuring a much more mature, dirty, and trench-warfare design, leaving behind the usual heroic clichés to aim for a much grittier realism.
We need your ideas
And this is where we need you. We would love for you to actively participate in the comments and give us your most honest opinion about this new path. What do you think of the idea? Are you more drawn to the Diesel Punk trench technology vibe, or do you prefer a darker, more mature sci-fi? Any suggestions on what kind of miniatures or warbands you feel are missing in the market with that adult style will be incredibly helpful to shape the future of the project.
We'll be reading your comments. Thank you so much for always being there and supporting us!
