May Release (Part 1): The Bannerman Tier — Tor Rufane

DESCRIPTION

Welcome to the first part of our May releases for the Bannerman tier! This month, we continue to expand the forces of Tor Rufane, one of the most martial, disciplined, and proud branches of our High Elves.

When designing Tor Rufane, we drew heavy inspiration from classical antiquity—visible in the functional cut of their armor and their disciplined aesthetics—but adapted it to the harsh realities of the Empire's frontiers. To represent their authority in these hostile territories, they wear lion pelts and motifs. In their military culture, the lion is not a mere hunting trophy; it is a symbol of vigilance and the absolute right to command. These are not parade troops; they are a battle-hardened expeditionary force built to secure the reconquest of the surface.

For this first part of the month, we are reinforcing your army lists with three key tactical profiles:

Tor Rufane Archers (Ranged Support): The first defensive and offensive line of the army. On the battlefield, their goal is systematic attrition and suppressive fire. They are tasked with softening enemy formations and eliminating priority targets long before the infantry lines clash. As miniatures, they feature steady, calculated firing poses, with cloaks and pelts that add excellent volume and texture to your tabletop presence.

Tor Rufane Guardians (Light Cavalry): These riders are the scouts and skirmishers of your army. Armed with bows and spears, they operate as fast light cavalry designed to outflank, disrupt supply lines, and harass the enemy's weak points. They have the mobility needed to hit where it hurts and retreat before the enemy can respond. They combine agile mounts with the disciplined yet fierce look of the Tor Rufane lions.

Army Standard Bearer (Command and Cohesion): In the heat of battle, lines can easily break. This veteran officer carries the lion standard, acting as a tactical anchor for the rest of the army. He provides a visual rallying point that ensures your formations maintain their discipline under heavy fire. This is a spectacular, highly detailed centerpiece miniature, perfect for showcasing your force's color scheme.

This is only the first half of what May has in store for the Empire's frontiers. Get your brushes and hobby stations ready, because the vanguard is ready to deploy!
