We want to explain two separate things: the arrival of The Squire and how Patreon now processes some payments.

The Squire

The Squire is a new tier for people who want to try how Patreon works with LastSword before joining one of the main tiers.

It is a simple entry point for new members: it lets you see how the subscription works, how your account connects to LastSword.com, and how rewards are received.

The Squire does not replace The Adventurer, The Bannerman or The Hoarder.

It currently includes one sample miniature from the Streltsi set.

About Patreon payments

Patreon has changed part of its subscription system because of Apple’s requirements for purchases made through the iOS app.

This affects members who joined after May 18, 2026.

Members who joined before that date still keep, for now, the usual billing system on the 1st of each month.

New members affected by the change are billed according to the day they subscribed.

For example:

If you subscribed on the 20th, Patreon will bill you every 20th.

If you subscribed on the 25th, Patreon will bill you every 25th.

If you subscribed on the 28th, Patreon will bill you every 28th.

What this means for monthly miniatures

Monthly miniatures are delivered when the release is ready, but rewards can only be assigned once Patreon has processed the payment for that month.

So, if your billing date is after the day we publish the miniatures, your files may not appear immediately.

Example:

If we publish the miniatures on the 25th, but your Patreon payment is processed on the 28th, your rewards will not appear on the 25th. They will be assigned once Patreon processes your payment on the 28th and LastSword.com detects it.

This is not an error or a problem with your account. It is simply how Patreon now processes those payments.

Do I need to do anything?

If your Patreon account is already synced with LastSword.com, you do not need to do anything.

This message is only to explain why, in some cases, rewards may appear a few days after the monthly release.

New members who have not connected their account yet should link Patreon from LastSword.com > My Account > Patreon Sync, so the system can detect their subscription and assign the corresponding rewards.
