Hello everyone. Today we want to share with you a small sneak peek of what we are working hard on for next month, both in the historical and fantasy lines.
ποΈ THE ADVENTURER: The Elite of Rome
On The Adventurer side, we are making way for what was, without a doubt, the most powerful and feared cavalry of its time: The Roman Cataphract Cavalry.
When sculpting these miniatures, we wanted to be completely faithful to history. We find it quite sad to see how, often in the industry, when this type of unit is made, they resort to a single texture or armor pattern repeated ad nauseam for the entire unit. Historical documentation tells us exactly the opposite: cataphract formations were incredibly rich in the variety of their protections.
We have decided to take the complex route. We are exploring and modeling the different types of documented armor, combining scale, lamellar, and chainmail both on the riders and the horses' barding. Our goal is that when you put these miniatures on the table, you feel like you are deploying true elite soldiers of Rome, formidable and visually spectacular.

π THE BANNERMAN: Devotion, Blood, and the Vaelyrhim Cult
On The Bannerman side, we continue to expand the Dark Elf army, but this time we dive fully into its most lethal and feminine aspect. Next month will be entirely dedicated to the cult of the priestesses: the Bloody Vestals.
After the fall and the exile, blood itself took on a new and terrible meaning for the Vaelyrhim. With the Core's Root Network out of their reach, the vital essence of their own lineage became the last conduit to power. Blood rituals became a necessary practice, a grim transaction with the forces of life and death in their desperate struggle not to be erased from the tapestry of existence.
In this new faith born from ash, the women of the lineage assumed a leading role, forming study circles and practicing rituals in absolute secrecy. The Vestals we show you today are the heirs of that tradition, acting as agile infantry and swift riders who spread the cult's will across the battlefield.
Precisely, the design of these miniatures seeks to directly reflect the profound duality of their faith. In exile, the Vaelyrhim cult was transformed: Naraeth (Death) became a revered presence, and the rites to Calanthia (the Mother) became a defiant affirmation of the will to endure. That is why, in these sculpts, you will see this dichotomy: on the one hand, they act as relentless emissaries of death wearing armors that resemble dark exoskeletons; on the other hand, they openly bare their breasts as a powerful, primal symbol of life, motherhood, and the survival of their lineage amidst the desolation.
The jewel of this release is the centerpiece that accompanies them: the Blood Altar, crowned by the majestic and imposing statue of their deity. The statue presiding over the altar embodies this absolute devotion, being the beating heart where the blood of every fallen enemy feeds the dark power of the priestesses.
