So I thought I was satisfied w/ the light redesign I did earlier this year. And then I quickly realized no actually I wasn't 💀. Because if I really wanna have my mascot be on brand to my tastes, he needs some alt/punk/lowkey emo vibes rather than just soft pastels. One of the formative crushes of my youth was a metalhead, The emo roots have never left me, I love goth bitches and I needed the edge to be atleast vaguely represented. But that's also a complicated vibe to match with 'cozy dreamer bedwear' for our resident sandman, so it took me a bit of on and off figuring out for a while lol.
But he's finally here... and hopefully he can properly stick around some more this time~ 🤭
