And also a Merry Christmas and happy holidays!!! Hope y'all have been having a wonderful day/evening/whenever wherever you are! I'm personally not too festive but I do partake in the excuse to have far too much chocolate put into my body.
Unfortunately Not Fun Segment I feel like I gotta talk about whether I like it or not because it's an ethical thing deeply important to me; the recent news about this game certainly messed with me a bit for a hot minute and how I was going to proceed with this piece since reorganizing a POTM project this late would be impossible. I'm currently being cautiously optimistic about the followup information provided in a Q&A with the game director that that kind of tech was apparently only used briefly when it was new in 2022 to experiment making placeholder textures, (and to be fair before the repercussions of the technology were much more well known), and have since taken a firm stance that they did not like it and decided to not use it in any further work. I can only hope they hold true to that statement for future works π€π.
Not fun part over! It's very nice to work on a more sentimentally charged scene!!! What's better than this.... fictional men with beautiful loving caring hearts together..... The real gift of the season to end the year..... I hope y'all look forward to the finished piece~!! π
