Here’s something a little different!
LegoLogBuilds is an Etsy seller that makes 3D Printed stuff like Pop Culture trinkets and things, but they occasionally make Lego-Compatable stuff too!
So when I saw these huge limbs, it was an absolute no-brainer to pick them up!
At $25 per color set, this lot of stuff cost me just a wee shipping fee north of $100!

They’re very obviously unavoidably 3D printed however. I say that, just because when we usually look at 3D Printed elements, generally they’re sanded down, or 3D printed at a smaller filament size, yadda yadda yadda (we’ve been over it before in many other reviews)
Take a look at Jin’s Hulk hair as recent example and you’re see what I mean by smaller filament size…
But these limbs are just bigger in a very literal sense. You can very much see all the filament passes at this macro minifigure zoom. There’s also no outer treatment done to them unlike what we commonly see with a completed custom fig.
You can also immediately notice some of the color restrictions and color matching issues that arise due to the filaments chosen. On the left, is supposed to be a match with Lego's official standard blue, while on the right, Lego's "Dark Azure". They're pretty close to being somewhere in the middle between both colors, but not quite perfect.

The “flesh colors” are a bit further off. The darker of the two is far less saturated than it ought to be. It’s also the filament color that has the the most visible flaws in its production. Lots of little gaps or passes that you really can only see in macro photos like this.

But again, that’s kind of the point I guess. These are meant to scale with mini figures after all. So if you want to look at them more for play-value, they sure are funky to pose around!

Truth be told, these elements clearly come from a different branch of this hobby, and that’s fine! They are still very fun to mess around with! And hey, at the end of the day I’m here to enjoy myself! So I can certainly say that I have done just that!

I do wish the overall production was little more refined. Ya know, like add interchangeable boots colors for the legs maybe? Get those colors a wee bit closer to their ABS Plastic counterparts?
Are they perfect? Nah! But they’re still pretty neat! 🤷🏻♂️
