Wielding the power of stars, the Darklord rules over the northern mountains. Or at least, that's what the tales says.
It's been years since she was last seen by commonfolk. People know where her castle is (more or less), but everybody is too afraid to actually come to her, so they don't even know she's actually alive or how she looks. She's the "Lord of Stars" and you should stay away and respect her rule!
However.
The Darklord kept to herself in her castle where most of the time she was either reading the same books or lazily drinking wine, until she was wasted and had to be carried by her (handcrafted) minions to her bed where she stayed for days, neglecting her obligations of spreading terror and ruling the land.
If people knew she was just a lazy bum most of the time, her title would quickly be challenged. That if people weren't too afraid to get close to her castle.
And as that, she keeps ruling the mountains, without ever collecting taxes from the commonfolk and not even spreading terror as that's too much of a hassle. She is the Darklord, even though only in title 😌
