2025 refugee piece come home just now. i'm looking to do a few more pieces currently that i think would translate well to prints, and i think this works well as both a static and animated piece! i finally properly played bayonetta for the first time a few weeks ago and really enjoyed my time with it - star fox level excluding.
i still find her design lowkey a nightmare to draw, but by any metric it's objectively very good, much like the game itself (and unlike my rankings which we're not gonna talk about). when i do crossover pieces like this, i like to adhere to the context in which these characters have all appeared together before, so all the respective designs pull specifically from their smash ultimate appearances.
