happy 30th resi. i'd love to say i had this one in the tank specifically for today, but it mostly ended up being a coincidence. still, i don't know if there's a better way to pay tribute then to what was and is still my favorite entry in the series - resident evil 4 (all lowercase). i can't recommend this game highly enough - if you check it out today on pc, be sure to check out the impeccable hd mod if you haven't already.
the signature on the silver ghost is directly borrowed from the way the gun appears in the very excellent remake, and i think the minimalist backgrounds were mostly born out of wanting to keep things simple, and ended up at least a partial homage to the legendary wii port cover.
this started as an ipad sketch and when you create new from clipboard in clip studio paint, it doesn't automatically record a timelapse - which i always remember right as i get close to finishing the actual work. i've included the sketch anyways regardless!
