First of all, thank you to all of those who chose to support me during the silence! I planned to stay quiet till the drop itself, but I got lots of concerned messages regarding the state of the update and decided to give you a little something.
What to expect from the update?
The New UI
The entire interface was rewritten from scratch. Custom menus, the new Camera Wheel, and a redesigned settings layout that makes the mod's depth actually approachable.
Tweak Anything On-the-Fly
You can now open the camera menu while the camera is live without loosing control of your keyboard/mouse/controller. Watch every change apply instantly. No more open-menu-close menu loops.
Preset System
Cameras now support presets that are stored as JSON files that can be easily shared with your friends/community.
Presets store attachment sources, positions, rotations, physics, overlay text and elements, shader configs, recoil configs, head bobbing configs, and more.
Every camera comes with sensible defaults. Bodycam as an example comes with Helmet, Chest, and Shoulder presets. You can clone the default presets and modify them to your liking.
There will be a dedicated Discord channel where you will be able to share your presets with others, and try presets others made.
Reworked Cameras
Every camera was reworked and given a huge amount of new settings you can tweak.
Animated recoil has been replaced with a procedural and highly customizable recoil system.
Head Bobbing has also been reworked into a procedural system. You can create your own unique head bobbing variations by choosing the source bone, and tweaking the extraction parameters.
Built-in PostFX Shader Pipeline
A full shader stack now ships with the mod - motion blur, chromatic aberration, film grain, focus hunting, scanlines, dynamic lens border, speed effects, and more. Shaders react dynamically to what's happening in game (speed, collisions, suppression, health, combat aim). Fully compatible with Reshade, ENB, NVE, QuantV, and other graphics mods. D3D11 and D3D12 both supported.
Stress System
The stress system tracks your heart rate and applies various effects like aim input noise, camera shake, and FOV pulse.
You can tweak the stress sources in the main menu, and the effects on a specific camera via the camera settings menu.

Current State (and when release?!)
VIEWPOINT has entered beta almost 3 months ago, and 30 testers are playtesting it as we speak!
8 patches were released since the beta started and huge progress has been made.
It is fully functional, and what's left is polishing
If all goes as planned, the release will be this month (May)
If you're still reading, you're probably very passionate about this project, and I have good news for you. I am looking for more testers to help me speed up the process. If you're a paid or a former, but long term supporter who is waiting for an update that is interested in joining the playtesting, send me a PM on Discord with your Patreon name ;)
Rebranding
It is no longer fair for me to take all the credit for the work that's been done since this project started, since so many members of the community are deeply involved in it's development.
For this reason, I will no longer use my personal name for this project.
We are Entropic State now!
Super excited for the release, and will share more about the near future plans for Entropic State.
Thank you again for the support, and have a nice weekend.
