I'm almost a week late, but in my defense, there's no defense, I'm just late. Still, it's May — the birds are singing, the sun's (usually) out, and we've got a monthly roundup to do!
Songs of the Spellbound Sea: All physical rewards have been delivered! I was hoping very strongly to have the digital art books out by now (part of why I wound up delaying so much), but I don't yet. It's top priority.
Post-Campaign Survey: I got a bunch of responses when I sent this out last month, but I still want more!
Machines of Bone and Blood: I did a minor refresh to the campaign, including the new (not quite final) cover art. More importantly, I engaged a marketing consultant who actually knows how to run facebook ads, and prelaunch growth since then has looked very good. I haven't publicly announced the campaign launch yet, but I expect to do so this month.
Patreon: More growth! I think a couple folks lapsed after last month's lack of updates, which I can't blame them for. But on the whole the line's still going up.
Discord: Not a whole lot to report this month.
Troubadour, Swashbuckler, Bloodrager: The Troubadour got its first new subclass in awhile, the Forgesinger! It gets heavy armor, ferromancy, and some anvil-ringing tools. Currently supporter-only.
Necromancer: I'm slowly working on the next base-class update, will definitely get something done before MB&B launches.
Abomination: Abomination v0.10 brought us the Nature of Winter and the Nature of the Herald!
Subclasses: This month's was the Voltblade Fighter, and a quick little joke sub for the Path of the Misty Stepper Barbarian. And supporters got to see both the Industrial Soul Sorcerer and the revised Path of the Machine-Breaker!
Design Notes: Our design notes for this month is all about fighter math, and what goes into balancing those attack-blenders.
What's coming up for the rest of May?
Spellbound Sea: I will definitely, 100% get this art book finished.
MB&B: Will be aiming for some more good preview stuff. Supporters should get to kick the tires on a new crafting branch, which will be deliciously grim.
Polls: Since I'm late, the polls are sadly not up. But our May winners were the Chained Patron for warlocks and the Nature of the Qilin for the abomination.
