DESCRIPTION
The players investigate a murder in the midst of a rural dwarven festival!
This is an encounter for players at all levels, with a focus on investigation, roleplay, and comedy. Despite the fact that the whole thing revolves around a tragic death, the premise and the final twist gave me a real chuckle.
Also, if there are any Sherlock Holmes fans among you, you might notice that this one was inspired by Silver Blaze (one of my favorite Sherlock Holmes short stories).
The whole encounter should take around one session to run, and can be deployed anywhere, though a mountainous region would be ideal.
