This was another eventful week for me. Itemizing:
TLS 1.2.2 was released publicly on all platforms. Steam as usual, plus I got itch updated because someone complained. Things are a little faster just doing one build.
More time spent messing with errors in TLS to prepare for that. To be clear, there are definitely still bugs in TLS, including dumb ones. Until just a couple days ago, there were a few places where the game should have granted an achievement and just... didn't. But there have been other cases where we end up going in circles: I'm told that something is bugged, alter it, then later find out that it was correct in the first place and change it back. TLS is a complex beast when you consider the interactions of all variables and nobody (including me) has the full thing stored in memory, so this can happen.
In terms of working hours, I actually spent most time on DStP, with more info and screenshots at my post over on the KS. But basically, this is another major portion of the game tested and finished, getting us ever closer to the point where my work on this project is actually complete.
Throne of Time has continued to exceed expectations. Usually at this point when one of my stories got popular I ran into tons of irritating users and became frustrated. I'm not sure how much of this is luck and how much is me pivoting to a different subgenre. Everyone's follows, favorites, and reviews continued to be appreciated! Seems like this will be more of an ongoing struggle than a sprint to a temporary high.
Finally, this week I was contacted by more publishing people offering deals. The terms seem positive... but I have felt that way before and things didn't actually come together. This will likely ease off for a while here, but by next month things will have progressed in one way or another. Cross your fingers.
Okay, I think that covers it. I am feeling somewhat recovered from all the promotion and chaos, so hopefully I will be increasingly productive over coming weeks!
