Rating bombing has made a bit of the shine wear off the RR experience, though Throne of Time is actually still doing much better than average. I don't feel like working on that anymore, though, I wanna do game stuff! Unfortunately, things were in a weird place this week.
TLS: The update is out and nothing has gone horribly wrong, so this should not be using much of my time in the near future. In theory I could integrate the new art from Annikath, but this will take a small amount of time and is not a priority task.
DStP: After all the work I did on Minus World recently, this is basically in the programmer's court. Nothing I could do to speed this along even if it was top priority. Kickstarter beta testing will probably eat up some time in the next month or so, however.
Slave Rehabilitator: Now we're getting into active territory. I've done some work with Kali finishing the new characters previewed earlier, and some work on the randomized patient system. Earlier this year I finished much of the management logic, but I've run into an issue with Python syntax and I hired somebody to help out, but they aren't finished yet. There is nothing stopping me from doing standard dialogue/plot with the new characters, but I'm not in the right frame of mind for it.
Omnipocalypse: This is the one that's gnawing at me. I've done some work on the "phase two" part of the loop and there's no reason I couldn't do more. This phase is meant to be more open, with character development for any characters who survived the early stages. I haven't been able to get my act together and sink significant time into this yet.
Times like these, I try to at least make progress on sundry secondary tasks, like the supplemental content you see from time to time. There was less on the to do list this time, but I did find myself working on the TLS stories I've mentioned in the past. Several are finished now, and at some point I will post them... not sure if it would be better for them to be an occasional feature or a mini-series later.
So that is the situation. I wish I was a pure creative engine that could devote endless energy toward my endeavors, but some weeks things end up more scattered and unfocused. Though I've made various efforts to refine my process over the years, sometimes there's just some time needed to change gears or clear out mental space to focus, or at least it seems inevitable so far.
It really is a privilege to be able to do this professionally, though, which is why I'm enthusiastically doing so much. Thanks to everyone for supporting me. ^-^
