My desire to work on game stuff remains strong, but business things that came up this week really broke my creative time into discontinuous chunks, so instead I'm thinking a lot about TLS.
First, please enjoy the above comic! For the sake of gameplay, you only see the player walking around, but the canon situation is that the entire harem is going around together, and they're not just doing a caterpillar line. I thought illustrating this would be funny. ^-^
(Though if you want to take the word "reality" even more seriously, in the reality of the setting, shops would feature more items, cities would be larger, and so on. I try to imply the real scope, as representing it directly would be cumbersome.)
That said, one of the main things I accomplished this week was writing all the post-TLS stories. These are a collection of five short stories that are set after the end of the game, some of them centuries or millennia after. They need editing yet, but the initial work is done.
This isn't working on the game itself, and it won't earn me any money, but I hope people will enjoy them? If you've followed the characters (and world) this far, I hope you'll be interested in following them a little further. Plus it felt quite refreshing to tackle something small, concrete, and simpler than a lot of the other tasks on my plate.
I'm not sure how/when I'll release these. Maybe one a week to the $5 tier, since that's the TLS tier and they haven't had as much lately? I guess speak up if you have strong feelings about this, but no one did last week. I haven't decided if I'll also upload these to Literotica or anywhere else, since they're more niche to players who have finished the game.
Anyway, this makes me feel like I at least did something nice this week. Hopefully in the coming weeks all the business stuff that's less creatively rewarding will bear some fruit, but we'll see.
