I was taken aback just now as I realize the last time I posted on Patreon was in July! I shouldn't have let it go that long. I keep the Discord server "Grey's Works" as my main place to share info on what's-what with my projects. It's exclusive to Patrons, so if you are a Patron and aren't in there, please message "greybun" on Discord and we'll sort things out!Since I haven't found a suitable social platform to focus on posting content to, I mainly stick with the Discord platform, the House of Stone, and those in Resonite to feature and offer ASFR goodness. But if you have an opinion about that, please do message me! Ideally in Discord (don't be shy) but Patreon works as well. Also, if you have any resources about where one could post videos for NSFW content (which I classify all of this as) I would really appreciate knowing. I think many want to have access to videos, even if they are just demonstrations of what I'm working to make available to those who play Resonite.Anyways! Let's talk about some of that ASFR goodness, because there's been plenty~
Two things: "The Experiment" Encounter has been updated. I've greatly increased the size of the world, offered more interactivity for the 1on1 session, and it should offer an experience to an "uncomfortable volunteer".Alongside this was the release of "Stone Serum" (found in Petrification/Tricks and Weapons), which is a syringe that'll offer disorienting effects upon injection, followed by petrification that spreads from the injection point. You can see this chameleon (ValorousVixen) may not have expected concrete camouflage, but research persists~
The last vote on this channel came between two main things! Plushification and Furniture TF! As of the time of this writing, it may seem like Plushification won, but that was due to a few late votes. Furniture TF was the winner, which sent me down a path to achieve a proper transformation into functional inanimate decor. However, this path involved a few steps, specifically onto pedestals as a starter. With how Resonite works, I set my goal on learning the best way to force someone into a pose while they are still mobile. This involves fighting against your pose (inevitably) while it happens. I started with this project, the "Perfect Pedestal" (found in Petrification/Traps) to create a truly progressive petrification from feet-to-head. As the stone claims your body, you will be unable to interact with or move any stone parts. This is not how the default petrification works, as this process took a lot of time to perfect into what it is. Alas, it's a marvel to see someone truly freeze bit-by-bit until all that remains is a statue -- let alone a statue that has muffled hearing, limited sight, and reliant on others to free it.
The technics behind achieving that were intended to help me uncover the best way to make a TF into furniture. I wanted (and still do) a way to make someone fight against their transformation as they're fitted into their new role as an inanimate object. But I encountered a wall when it came to finally achieving that with the methods I used to make the Perfect Pedestal (ref hacking and Tweening local transforms on the body nodes). You cannot force any avatar to gradually assume the pose of a chair, as all avatars have very different designs on on kinesthetics/posture.But it was not in vain! An opportunity came up to create a "transfix doll" of someone with this process -- one that can be posed by hand and force the actual person to assume the pose. They can even fight against it! This project can be sampled in the Grey's Works folder but will require more work to get into a proper "curse" to place upon someone, and can hopefully tickle some of the desires for a Plushie transformation, and this may work well for that too!
I felt the impulse to achieve a project I've dreamed of for years. It was offered as a voted Patreon idea before, and though it never won the votes, I couldn't help but want to see it through to actualization. And this is my most ambitious and largest project to date, which took several months of focused work to achieve. This is "The Down Looker". In Greek, this translates to Catoblepas. Some of you may know of the mythical beast. Perhaps looked down on moreso than Medusa, but it identifies a creature whose head is so heavy it must keep its gaze downwards. Some say it has petrifying eyesight.. but I think we've had enough of that, haven't we? (Sorry basilisks, cockatrice, and gorgons) So instead it has petrifying breath. It resides in this swamp, and pursues those who venture into it. In a game of cat-and-mouse, players embark as biologists intent on learning more of the creature, and I personally play the Catoblepas as it stalks those who traverse its home. Progress is persistent. Petrification is persistent. Teams play together, unlocking abilities and knowledge on how to survive the night and learn more of the beast's behavior. If you are a Patreon and would like to experience this, please message me! This project has had dozens of people play already, and will wrap up soon (for its initial release).
I'm going to split this announcement into two sections (as I'm eager to get into Resonite now and work on some new things!) and tomorrow I will make another post! We'll talk and share about the cement thrower, coin transformation, updated painting TF, isolation cryogenic pod, rubber slime monster, tree transformation, rubber hood TF, and some other stuff -- jeez I should have updated here sooner :< I'm sorry it took so long! But lots of goodness in store!
