DESCRIPTION

After the release of the Oblivia reward, there remained a significant unanswered question: where do the stairs behind the artifact lead? This clip begins to shed light on the answer.

Every time we deliver a reward, there are often many intriguing shots left in the 3D scene. This time, a shot that captivated us was this dolly-in motion. The original reward featured light reveals, beat-emit surfaces, and element clips for compositing, but this shot captures the vastness of the hall, the stillness of the artifact, and hints at what lies beyond, potentially expanding the story.

So, here it is - a free VJ clip that we'll be providing on stvinmotion.com in both 2160p & 1080p. You can download the clip before everyone else using these direct links:

This clip is rendered using DXV High-Quality settings. The hall where Oblivia is located is filled with volumetric fog. When compressing the clip in the DXV codec using normal settings, the delicate fog appears distorted, with noticeable banding around the flickering core. However, rendering it in DXV with the high-quality settings resolves this issue, albeit resulting in a larger file size. Just thought you should know.

We would appreciate hearing your thoughts on whether this is a significant addition to the original reward or if, due to the ping pong motion (dolly-in and dolly-out), it is less useful for you. Would love to hear your feedback.

If you are interested in the complete Oblivia VJ clips reward you can purchase it now as part of the  Dark Altar VJ pack
