FSR 4 For RDNA 3: Steam Machine Benchmarks + Gameplay, RX 7800 XT + 7900 XTX Tested

As promised, a bit of early access on this one. I wanted to do more than just benchmarks, I wanted to play some games, show some settings choices and see what FSR 4 actually does in a range of titles. Very interesting results on Steam Machine, bearing in mind the paucity of GPU power.

The blurb: while FSR 4 has been available "unofficially" for a long, long time on older AMD graphics cards, the firm's recent release for the ML upscaler for RDNA 3 feels like a shot in the arm for RX 7000 GPUs, while the Steam Machine also stands to benefit. Rich benchmarks the Valve mini-PC/console, RX 7800 XT and 7900 XTX and puts the upscaler to work in numerous gameplay scenarios. Perhaps it's an exaggeration to say that an older GPU feels new again, but the tech can be transformative.
