I'm really excited about this release, because it was quite a challenging, different map idea and I'm really pleased how it turned out.
This the Third Map, but has been the pattern this year, the Third Map has been our contribution to the Broken Expanse collaboration with Kelfecil and Demetrius.
When we were brainstorming ideas for this months region, I suddenly had the idea of a huge undead sea monster with a ramshackle wreck/fort on the back. And before I knew it, I had committed to the idea!
So then, when it came to making it, I had the daunting task of making this giant beast. It's a very different thing to do compared to the map of a building or similar. However, I was feeling very inspired by the concept and pushed on!
The result is a very atmospheric and exciting map - the wreck of a ghost ship chained to the back of a decaying leviathan. Of course, there's a no-wreck version for fighting on the back of a rotting monster!
Now, of course, inspired by this, I got a bit carried away and made a fair few variants. These won't be Patreon releases, going on sale on DTRPG instead, but there will be some Patreon exclusive discounts in case you'd like to get them.
