Idea 1:
Marin Kitagawa (My dressup Darling)
Turns into a Albino Burmese Python lamia (a yellow and white snake)
For her next cosplay of a lamia, Marin is extremely disappointed that she has to cosplay the human form of her, and cant do the lamia form for obviously bodytype related reasons. So she orders a potion online, which apparently should make cosplaying lamias a lot easier. Turns out that the potion was more effective than she had anticipated as she turns into a full on lamia.
Idea 2:
Kimihito Kurusu (Monster Masume).
Turns into a Dimond Back Rattle snake lamia.
While going on a date with Miia, Kimihito gets a strange message on his phone talking about becoming what you are closest to. Not thinking about it too much he pressed 'yes' on the message and that started turning him into a lamia, since Miia is literally and physically the closest to him.
Idea 3:
Mark Palmers (Random Jon Doe character)
Turns into a multi-armed MGE Apophis .
Mark is a professional dancer who has hit a slump. During his latest performance, a benevolent(?) being who may or may not be a certain goddess of darkness takes pity on him, blessing him. The blessing starts turning him into an alluring, multi-armed Apophis as Mark dances. Mark is unaware of this as she dances, until the dance is over.
Idea 4:
Samus Aran (Metroid)
Turns into a Lamia acolyte of a snake goddess
While exploring a planet, Samus stumbles on what seemed to be an old temple. Whilst exploring the temple, she finds a snake idol that seemed pretty lifelike. For some reason she felt compelled to touch it, and ended up pricking herself in the process on the statue's fangs. Weirded out by the experience, she turns to leave, only to feel strange as a being begins to speak in her mind. That she has been chosen as a follower of the snake Goddess in the planet, and as the Goddess molds her mind into being fanatically loyal to her, her body follows suit
