🏎️ Huge Update Coming This Week! DTM 2026 Layout, Improved Tire Info & More (v1.3 Sneak Peek)
Hi everyone!
I hope you’re all nailing those apexes out there in Assetto Corsa. I’m dropping by to share some massive news: the new v1.3 update for the HUD is dropping later this week! 🚀
This is one of the biggest updates yet. I’ve spent a lot of time completely reworking the visuals and improving the core scripts to bring this project closer to real-world racing broadcasts.
Here is a sneak peek of what’s coming in v1.3:
New DTM 2026 Inspired Layout: A brand new design that is much more faithful to the official real-world DTM 2026 overlay. Best of all? You will have the option to easily switch between the new layout and the classic version depending on your preference.
Dynamic Driver/Manufacturer Column: Implemented a new cycling display just like in real life—the leaderboard column will show the driver's national flag and then automatically switch to display the car manufacturer's logo after a few seconds.
Overhauled Tire Info: A significant upgrade to how tire data is presented, featuring a completely redesigned and much cleaner tire icon for instant readability.
Upgraded Graphics & Overlays: Visual improvements across various UI elements, including a brand new Onboard camera overlay and a redesigned "Battle for Position" banner.
Smart Pit Box Info: Redesigned Pit Box elements that make it much easier to track exactly when each driver on the grid has made their mandatory pit stop.
Engine & Logic Improvements: Refined internal functions to ensure a much more accurate and stable calculation of both Gap and Interval times in all conditions.
🔮 A look into the future... I'm also thrilled to announce what I'm already working on for the next update after this one: I will be implementing a Live Telemetry system, matching the real technology used in the DTM broadcasts. Stay tuned for that!
The v1.3 update will be ready for download in just a few days. Keep an eye on your notifications, as I’ll post the download link and installation instructions as soon as it goes live.
As always, thank you so much for your incredible support. Your feedback is what keeps driving this project forward! 🏁
See you on the track!
