I hope you’re all enjoying your time on the track. A few days ago, I teased that the upcoming update would be v1.3 and that live telemetry would have to wait... Well, I have a massive surprise for all of you.

I’ve been pushing the code to its absolute limits, and thanks to the incredible support you've been showing here on Patreon, I managed to crack it ahead of schedule. We are skipping v1.3 entirely. Welcome to HUD v2.0! 🚀

This is a milestone update that completely upgrades the core experience of the HUD, bringing it closer than ever to a real-world racing broadcast.

Here is what’s waiting for you in this major v2.0 release:

⚡ LIVE TELEMETRY SYSTEM (The Big Surprise): It’s finally here! You can now view real-time car telemetry data. The system is fully dynamic: it shows your own car's data while you drive, and automatically switches to show the telemetry of whichever driver you are watching on the onboard camera.

New DTM 2026 Inspired Layout: A brand new visual overhaul faithful to the official real-world DTM 2026 overlay. If you prefer the previous look, don't worry—you can easily switch between the new layout and the classic version in the options.

Fluid Animations & Performance Boost: Reworked UI animations to make transitions much smoother and premium, while simultaneously optimizing the scripts to ensure your FPS stay high during close racing.

Dynamic Driver/Manufacturer Column: Leaderboard columns will now cycle automatically, showing the driver's national flag and then switching to the car manufacturer's logo after a few seconds, exactly like the real TV broadcast.

Overhauled Tire Info: A significant upgrade to tire data presentation, featuring a completely redesigned, cleaner tire icon for instant readability.

Upgraded Graphics & Overlays: Visual improvements across multiple UI elements, including a brand new Onboard camera overlay and a redesigned "Battle for Position" banner.

Smart Pit Box Info: Reworked elements that make it incredibly easy to track exactly when each driver on the grid has completed their mandatory pit stop.

Engine & Logic Improvements: Refined internal calculations to ensure highly accurate, instantaneous Gap and Interval times.
