29.05.26Hi everyone! As already communicated on X, there is a small fix with transfer values for top nations in today's update. It was a "knock on" impact if you're using my "English league reputation fix" which will prevent of those clubs getting a too high reputation. This lead to too low market values in some cases, so I had to increase them a bit again:D Beside that, there are no other changes. Link at the bottom is updated.CheersDaveincid22.05.26Hi everyone!I'm happy to present you my next update of my "Increase-Realism" Megapack. For BETA users:As communicated, there are a bunch of fixes regarding the release of MasterIgor's files (mainly financial fixes) amongst some other improvements. (in vanilla as in my injuries file aswell, the values for "a moderate calf strain" and an actual "calf strain" were reversed which lead to players suffering much longer for a less severe injury. I've now corrected that one. What's new?The main focus of this update is a fully dynamic game world in the area of finances and sponsorships.
I already created something similar for FM24, but back then I waited for the final update before releasing it. This time, I simply do not have the patience anymore, so I am taking the risk and releasing it already now :D
What exactly does this mean?
Sponsorship income is mainly calculated through club reputation. However, this does not work properly in FM once real sponsors are included in the database.
Those sponsorship values barely increase when a club becomes successful, and they also do not really decrease after poor performances or relegations. Over the medium and long term, this leads to a game world that is far too static.
This update changes that :D
Everything now behaves dynamically.
I have calculated the sponsorship values in a way that keeps them very close to real-life figures. A direct 1:1 transfer is often not useful anyway, because club expenses cannot be calculated perfectly. If sponsorship values are too high, many clubs become too rich, which then creates further problems such as unrealistic transfer fees, overly strong players due to better facilities, and so on.
The goal was to find a realistic middle ground based on existing real-world data.
From my point of view, I have found exactly that.
Most of the files updated this month are connected to the effects described above.
ALL CHANGES:
UPDATE: CA/PA Adjustments
Major CA/PA update, more nationality switches and reputation changes.
UPDATE: League Reputation Changes
Further adjustments to improve long-term league balance.
UPDATE: Transfer Preferences
More tweaks to improve realistic transfer behaviour.
NEW: Taxes Fix
Missing, outdated or incomplete taxation fixes for 20 nations.
UPDATE: Salaries, Market Values and Sponsors
Major financial rebalancing connected to the new dynamic sponsorship system.
UPDATE: Club Finances Fix
Further changes to keep club finances more realistic in long-term saves.
NEW: Player Salaries Adjustments
Around 1,800 players have had their salaries adjusted.
This was necessary because many salaries were either missing entirely, which caused them to be calculated unrealistically, or were simply incorrect.
Players from leagues in 38 nations were adjusted.
The main focus was on players with a CA of 130 or higher. There are now almost no players left in this range without a salary entry.
This leads to:
✅ More realistic transfers✅ More realistic wage negotiations✅ Better balanced club finances✅ Improved balance especially in the 2nd and 3rd divisions of Spain, France and Italy
UPDATE: Club Reputation Fix
Further adjustments to improve long-term club reputation development.
Plans Before the Public Release and what's coming next
Uploading Test Save-game: Last Friday, MasterIgor has released his update which contains CONMEBOL, OFC and some fixes. I've already done a XXL longterm sim with not just my June update but also some experimental stuff for the July update. Usually, I do a proper test with just all the files within the current update but due to the English league rep. bug, my testing takes much longer so I need to use my time more efficient:D I do have an older save which contains all 190 nations with over 200 leagues in full detail but that was at an earlier stage. My latest save with 63 playable leagues in 58 nations currently is in year 2032. I plan to upload that one on Saturday or Sunday. A second save is planned once the WC update is released and I've checked the compatibility of my files + I have a pre-alpha build of my July update ready. What I can reveal so far is that there is a new file which I've never created before and I think it's bonkers:P
Usually at this time of the year, modding is more simple because the game is in its final stage. This year is different. There was the following statement on their official website: "We’ve also made several under-the-hood changes to player condition to ensure that players recover better during international tournaments, so they’re able to play more consecutive matches." (https://www.footballmanager.com/fm26/features/chase-fifa-world-cup-2026tm-glory-international-management-arrives-fm26)For me, this means that I need to check the majority of my files again to see how it impacts other areas in the game, for example: Does it impact how many subs are being used? Does it increase or decrease player development? Depending on the outcome, there will be changes needed. What does this mean to when using my June files? As of today and as far as I've seen in my testing, CA numbers longterm are very consistent until 2038 before they increase slightly at the top (CA150+ roughly 10% more players as at the beginning of a save while CA160+ is roughly 20% higher). Those numbers aren't that bad but depending on the testing with the upcoming update one of my focusses for the July update will be to get that numbers down a bit more. D
I hope I haven't missed any infos^^
Oh, As always, delete all previous files of my megapackThat is it for the main changes this month.
I hope you enjoy the update!
