Horde 1.7.0 Update
DESCRIPTION

Just a quick note for you folks using Horde. I just released a pretty big update. Have fun!

New Features

Roster Table View: The main screen has been completely redesigned. The old 5 by 4 card grid has been replaced by a 20 row tactical roster table.

Color Coded Role Icons: Each follower row now displays an icon computed from their highest combat skill cluster. Red sword for Warriors, blue star for Mages, green arrow for Archers, gold cross for Spellswords.

Status Spine and Status Text: A colored spine on the left edge of each row matches the status text on the right edge. Green for Following, amber for Waiting, so you can read state from either side of the table at a glance.

Vital Bars Per Row: Three slim bars (Health, Magicka, Stamina) display on every row with current values, making party wide status visible at once.

Distance Column: Each row shows how far the follower is from you in meters.

Scrollable Roster: If you have a roster larger than fits on screen, the table now scrolls.

20 Follower Maximum: The follower cap has been raised from 10 to 20.

Automatic Settings Migration: Existing installs from before 1.7.0 will automatically migrate the cap from 10 to 20 on first launch.

Footer Counter Update: The footer now correctly displays your follower count out of 20 instead of out of 10.

Essential Toggle Checkbox: A new Essential checkbox has been added to each follower's character screen below the existing Passive, Follow Close, and Idle Sandbox toggles.

Quest Compatibility For Follower Killing: Unchecking the Essential box makes a follower killable for quests like Boethiah's Calling that require killing your follower at the pillar.

Original Protection Restored On Dismissal: When dismissed, followers revert to their original protection level (essential, protected, or mortal) so vanilla essential followers like Lydia will not become permanently killable by mistake.

Bug Fixes

Modifier Key No Longer Sticks After Menus: Alt and Shift modifier keys could get stuck in the "held" state after running an OStim or SexLab scene, opening the console, using a third party freecam, or interacting with most other modal menus.

WASD No Longer Triggers Group Commands: The stuck modifier bug caused walking around with WASD to constantly fire FollowAll, WaitAll, and SummonAll without any modifier actually being pressed. Horde now resets the modifier state on every menu open and close.

Hearthfire Stewards Travel To Their Homestead: When dismissed, followers assigned as Hearthfire stewards were being routed to their default location instead of the homestead because Horde injected its own sandbox package at high priority.

Sandbox Package Only Injected With Horde Home: Horde now only injects a sandbox on dismissal if you have explicitly set a home through Horde itself, otherwise it cleanly releases the follower to vanilla behavior.

Better Compatibility With Third Party Home Mods: Other follower frameworks and third party home mods can now take over dismissed followers without interference from Horde.

Lesser Powers Failure Diagnosed When ESP Missing: If you installed only the Horde DLL without enabling Horde.esp, the four lesser powers would silently fail to appear in your favorites and powers menus, leaving you unable to open the UI.

In Game Notification For Missing ESP: Horde now pops an in game notification reading "Horde: ESP not loaded, enable Horde.esp in your mod manager" so you can spot the problem immediately.

Behind The Scenes

Original Editor Location Caching: Horde now caches each follower's vanilla editor location the first time it sees them and restores it if you later clear a Horde home.

No More Phantom Home Bug: Setting a Horde home and then clearing it will no longer leave the follower routed to a phantom location forever.

Improved Diagnostic Logging: Several silent failure paths in the lesser power grant code now produce warnings in Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\SKSE\Horde.log, making it much easier to triage installation problems.
