Who did it? Production diary page 5 (First almost minute Preview and rethinking how I do all this)

Hey, I have the first almost minute of the new cartoon here for you all to see!

The title is temporary and it needs a few changes and fixes here and there with some editing adjustments such as syncing the beep sounds to the visuals for example. I've focused my attention on the first minute to get it all near finished because I wanted to see how it would all feel and look when the rest of it is fully coloured and finished also.

I have to be honest, this has been a nightmare to make.

The initial plan was to make it very loose and quick and be no more than a minute and a half but it's ended up at 3 minutes total with a load of stylistic changes along the way.

I genuinely think this is a real issue of mine I need to seriously address if I want to keep making stuff full time 😂

Another issue I have is that I put all my free time into actually making this stuff to the point where I don't have the energy or the drive to share with you guys and keep you updated as I go. It's a very one track minded issue of mine where I want to finish most of the cartoon before doing the social media stuff even though the best approach is to do them both simultaneously.

I've had a good sit down and a think and I'm going to start approaching videos, cartoons anything I make entirely differently now. I love doing these big cartoons but it's not viable at all financially or for health and good life balance. This is even after me realising this months ago and making an update video, I'm not great at listening to myself it seems even after taking a bit of a step back from overwork already.

So thanks everyone for supporting me as I go through an early mid life crisis with my work haha. I want to make it clear, I am really pleased with what I've got to show and you will all see the finished product next week, it's just I have to be honest with what I am seeing as being possible going forward until I have more time, resources etc.

Anyway, a bunch of episodes are planned, I'll just need to rethink, the length, style and whether I'll need to try and find funding and a small team to regularly make stuff like this when I get the chance.
