Man what a busy month. I'm glad I'm starting to see the light of day. I spent almost all of it in mixing/mastering hell, finishing up Back At It Again and then releasing Quiet Spaces Vol 4 and THEN working on Season 21 of the Two Hour Track Challenge. I shipped Season 21 off to distribution yesterday so I'm glad that is done and getting processed.
Next big project is working on the Club Sandwich Party remix album and making sure that everyone involved has what they need to make a rad track. Also gotta work on the album cover, but I think I have the design figured out. Just need to sit down and create it.
I do like my weekly stream loops, but I understand that it isn't always the most exciting. Though, to be fair, I've enjoyed the past few weeks of songs quite a bit.
I've started to think of the Stream Loops project as my sketchbook. Just jotting ideas down without worrying too much about the "completeness" of it. Then when a bigger project comes up I can page through these songs for inspiration.
There are some interesting projects coming up once I finish Club Sandwich Party. I am excited to look into the Pomodoro mixes. Both because I think they are an interesting concept, but also it's a chance for me to explore live playing and looping. I love artists like Beardyman who have the skills and tools to just MAKE THINGS.
Another big thing on my list is trying to get back into game development. I've been thinking about learning Godot and I have a small project in mind so I'm gonna try to go for it this month if possible. It'll be a lot of learning, but that's how it goes.
Thanks as always for your support! Off to donate to some kitties :)
