Took a small break from doing drones today to write this cool little sketchbook track. I love how open and chill it is.
I'm looking forward to going through all the sketchbook tracks that we made this year and organizing them into albums for 2025 releases :)
I also attached a preview of a Drones for Drones track. It's been a great time working on these drones, honestly. I've been messing around with a spectral synthesizer ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5g632XP7HVY ) to find a neat sound, and then chill out for an hour building a structure around it.
Drones for Drones is my November album in a month project. I wanted to make music that helps with focus in busy office environments. These songs are designed to take up a lot of the same harmonic frequencies as the human voice to drown outside chatter and allow you to focus on whatever you're working on. Each song is 10 minutes long. I'm shooting for 6 songs for this month, but I already have four tracks that sound pretty good, so maybe I'll go for nine? We'll see! :)
