Been very busy on all sorts of things, like making bugfixes for the portrait mods and applying for jobs (one of those things is going better than the other, take a guess which) but I've begun sketching out designs for the villager portion of Bountiful Beauties!
A bunch of the townspeople don't really have much of a theme, or even much of a personality, so I want to make sure I have a general idea of how everyone's going to look before I start making actual game files for them. Most of them are planned to not have too many unique poses, but I know female Wizard, above, has marriage mods available in SVE and Romanceable Rasmodius, so she's going to need a lot more poses comparable to the original marriage candidates.
As far as design difficulties go, Gus in the original game is one of those characters who is nice all the time but doesn't have much characterization beyond his role as the town chef, he doesn't talk or like much beyond cooking, but being a chef and having oranges as a Loved gift is enough to work with, I think.
Pierre, on the other hand, seems entirely defined by how much he loves making money. He only has two specific Loved gifts in the game, which might be the least of all characters, and one of those two is the money book that was added in version 1.6, because of course it is.
By the way, I gave her a small chest to match my Abigail design... but Magnolia gets Abigail's eye marks... just my little way of muddying that whole family situation a bit, heh heh...
But then we have characters like Caroline... not a lot of content in the game, no themes to work with. Basically all we get from her is... she has a sunroom, and... she likes tea? These characters are the hardest to think up something interesting for, I think. I considered giving her a design with a Chinese dress just coming off of the tea thing, but it just didn't feel right for her, so I ended up with this.
Anyway, I'll keep working on it, and update this post when I have more designs!
