This piece has something I've only used a handful of times in the last few years - textures! Or rather, textured brushes. I used them on the wall there specifically, to make the material read more correct. Normally I render everything with untextured basic brushes. I think it came out rather nice. I still find that it's too easy to overdo them and have them stick out like a sore thumb, but in situations like this I should try to use them more.
