Okay first of all, i find Negitoromaru gorgeous, and i've been wanting to draw her for a big while. I now understand my boy Todo from JJK.
I really admire some online models and gainers because they put in a lot of effort to create better content and/or please their community. Mad respect. And of course, to us, and to me as an artist, they're beautiful to look at.
This portrait took 2h 36 min. I did use the image as a base for specific proportions to practice foreshortening; i did not trace, only adjusted the drawn lineart to match her structure.
This was a study to me, it was done with the new workflow and style and i think this shows how versatile it is, and how much the practice hours i've put in pay off. I often prioritize the feel an art piece gives, so i hope this painting expresses how beautiful and seductive women are.
Now, if you're an artist and you're wondering how i managed this, draw in grayscale, trace over irl photos and study values and hues. Practice makes perfect, i'm serious. I come from a background of IRL drawings, if you scroll back you'll realize i wasn't that great at anime at first.
