Hello,
hope you're well!
As it's Machina Bristronica week ... eek!! Excitement ensues ... what better way to celebrate than to share a video with ALX-106 of WMD from a previous event on the DivKid Discussions stage. Alex takes us through his hybrid performance system with laptop, controller & 6U of Eurorack.
There's a bumper schedule of DivKid Discussions (and the rest of the event) this year, if you're coming to Machina Bristronica come along check out some talks, handily right next to refreshments and caffeinated nourishment. If you do come along - ASK FOR STICKERS - as I'll have some for you.
HEAD BANGER DEADLINE APPROACHES
You may remember me opening up audio submissions for trying your sounds in some modules, with the idea they'll be used (with credit to you) in some new demo videos). Well one of those modules was the Head Banger from Setonix & Robots Are Red. First of all thank you to those that sent audio already AS PER THIS POST (give it a read) but there's still some time, and now an actual deadline for others to submit some sounds.
Note I only want 48kHz, 16 or 24bit wav files (again read this post)
If you'd like to hear your sounds through a CV controlled heavy metal distortion then the deadline to submit sounds is Wednesday the 1st of October. Giving you just over a week from this post to get some sounds together. I'd love to have some clean guitar, bass, chord/key like sounds, modular patches, drum beats and even voice.
If you have questions about any of this you can leave a comment on the post or chat in the Discord as usual.
Plenty more to come soon, so I'll see you in the Discord to chat and in Bristol this weekend for those coming to Machina Bristronica. Ta!
p.s. speaking to Discord, get your QOTD and WYR suggestions into the #suggestions-no-answers channel please.
