here's a fun new video for the PEDALS & PATCHES which is with this brilliant early 80s Octaver pedal, the Pearl OC-07. Yes that Pearl that make drum kits, like many companies, toyed with electronics gear decades ago too. But importantly the video is entirely techniques based, you could use any of the many (and many affordable) sub octave pedal processors that are out there, software, modules etc to do what's in the video. Using modular, my SH-09, guitar, bass and VCV we explore what these sub octave pedal FXs do, how to use sub octaves in your patches and how to recreate an octaver and then articulate it more interesting in VCV Rack.
