This is an important post for me.
First, all the sound files for Yakuza were created, so you can download the deck to get the latest version.
Now, I should start by thanking anyone and everyone who made this patreon possible. It's a lot of support, and it keeps me motivated to keep doing more content.
However I'm trying to find a way to change it because it launched 3 years ago and things evolved since then. No new manga was created, so the manga tier for example don't really make sense since it gets outvoted every time in favor of a video game instead.
So I'm trying to find the following balance : Make the content available for as many people as possible while not losing too much of the current stream of income.
I designed the tiers so that you can pay once and tap out anytime while still getting access to future content. Which I think is fair .
From what I can analyze, there's a good portion of people that support me regardless of the content. I saw that more people vote for a specific deck than it has downloads the month it's complete for example.
So I'm thinking that by making the content more accessible, I'll obviously lose subscriptions, but since more people have access to it, they'll be more people potentially willing to make a donation.
How much is there to lose or to gain I do not know until I try, but I don't mind losing a bit if a lot more people enjoy the content.
However I also don't want to devalue people who have supported me for more than a month, without their insight, so I'm making a new poll to get your feedback on how to move forward by proposing a different tier subscrition.
I may revert or change things depending on how it goes but I hope I won't need to. Don't hesitate to leave a comment as well.
I'll leave this one for two month to get as much visibility as possible. By then, I'm hoping the deck for Final Fantast X will be done. It's much easier and faster to do than the Yakuza 0 deck, that's for sure.
