Hello Bois,
For some reason, my DAZ Studio started throwing the error: "A valid PostgreSQL CMS connection could not be established." This meant my CMS database was corrupted. While I knew I could resolve it by completely resetting DAZ Studio, I wanted to avoid that option—it’s incredibly time-consuming. The last time I did a full reset, it took over two days to reinstall every asset, plugin, and DAZ itself.
I attempted a system restore twice, but the issue persisted.
Finally, I fixed it by deleting the corrupted CMS folder, resetting the database within DAZ3D, and reimporting the metadata for all installed assets to restore my settings and assets.
It was a frustrating experience, and for a while, I thought I’d have to start everything from scratch. Mentally drained—calling it a day. Sorry, bois.
