Entangle: The Drowning of Briarmarsh Manor is a Southern Gothic horror adventure for 1st-level characters using the Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition ruleset. Set within the flooded reaches of Blackwater Parish, the adventure explores themes of inheritance, decay, memory, and the slow collapse of things that should have been laid to rest long ago. Characters journey into a drowned land of sinking roads, isolated churches, and ruined estates where the dead linger, old faiths rot beneath the reeds, and Briarmarsh Manor itself clings stubbornly to a forgotten past. Horror in Blackwater is seldom sudden. Like the swamp, it arrives slowly, patiently, and without mercy.
