Hey again, It's me. Tjop-

Today I want to show how the update is progressing and talk a bit more about the broader game.

I have designed new UI elements to now show the player gold and to keep the overall screen cleaner by moving the quick navigation buttons to a switch. I think showing more of the background will always look nicer in this game and I can now add more quick navigation buttons in the future without covering the whole screen :DThere are also a few new battle cards which immediately make the battles more interactive. I know it's still all very bland, I apologize, but it calms me seeing only a fer new cards making a big difference in fun already. I have LOTS of ideas for rich and more deep battles and have written down many, many cards and effects but here is another thing stopping it from being quickly added and that is - game progression. The cards will become available as you play through the game, for example - when you discover and do quests for a mage university, you will be rewarded with some magic cards and so on. So the fact that the game is missing a lot of areas and characters that would unlock a lot of those cards and effects, most of the fun and thinking for the battles will have to wait for that first.Something else I want to mention is how much I'm trying to make the game production more efficient. I invested a lot of time the past 2 weeks into looking at different paths I could take to achieve that. Sadly, some of them lead nowhere in the end and I just end up losing time, but some will be worth it I hope. I have set up a commission for some animations right now for example. I wish I could do much more, and I will always hope the game gets more support over time so I can use the funds for more commissions and especially tools because if it forever goes at this pace, it will take-- well, very very long. I will not stop, but I would like to provide you - the players - more in the same amount of time. It would make me the happiest.I'm certain you all here understand how much it takes to be making a 2d game of this style.Feel free to ask any questions in the comments, as always. Thank you for the continuing support and I wish you the best for now.
