I wanted to give you a heads up that The Big Beyond™ page is live on steam! (It's been for a while but I didn't want to spam post) So, if you're looking to eventually play it on there, you can add it to your wishlist. It's planned to release next year.
IMPORTANT!I should have made this clear earlier, but here we go -- I will be giving away a ton of steam keys so you don't think that I plan to double charge you in any way. I'm still quite unsure how to approach it yet but I'll let you know on time. (I'm not sure Ill be able to DM every single one of you but I'd try..)
Would the Steam release be different in any way? - No, not in any major way. There is a possibility I'll need to revise some smaller details just for approval but no big new scene or anything like that. (I may add some easter egg here and there though)
How would updates look on Steam?- Some of you may not know, but adult games have been restricted from being in early access and adding new content post launch. There is a way I can and will do it though - Through free DLC's. I therefore plan on releasing major game updates once or maybe twice a year as a DLC on there so I comply with everything. As you know, I have many many plans for the game over the years to come, so post launch support is to be expected. And - I don't plan to ever charge for those DLC's- if you buy the base game, you have it all.
I will still push my regular game updates at my own pace here on patreon. If you want to wait for DLC's on Steam or download from here is up to you. :)Now, as for the update v0.10 -Everything is still going strong and I made nearly all the animations I said I would. I Also added more variations to them as well. Some of you also saw that I repainted older assets as I found time in between. In any case, all is going well and I still believe everything could be finished before mid June as I first said. I had to make all steam marketing assets so if I still manage to do it on time, it would be amazing.
