Hey, all. I hope you're doing great!I just want to make something clear about this update so you know the plan for the release. Nothing significant has happened and the game is going forward as good as ever, the only issue is how I miss-judged a few things. I simply made too many assets and now I can't connect everything in time in a way that would make sense - since I said that it would be ready mid June. I spent a lot of time on things I didn't think would need as much as they did. I completely remade the sound and music in the game and worked on a lot of quality of life things and optimized menus so it's at least up to standard on all possible categories. This has all contributed to a longer dev cycle.
Now.... I know this might not be the best to hear for some, but please hear me out--
I will have to split this update in 2 parts since there is too much to combine and it's not necessary to wait that much longer. First major part will come out soon, as I finish it up and test - it will have a lot all around content. The rest would release very soon after, like a month- since I have the assets already made. I know, again, that this doesn't sound too promising but I think this will give me the opportunity to finish up the last and best parts in the best way I can, and not rush it- that would be a big letdown for the game in my eyes. (I also really really want and need to go over some of your suggestions in the discord chat, they are very helpful and thought out - thank you for that)
I understand it's not what you hoped for but I'm writing this to apologize and make everything clear. I have tried so hard to work it out in time, but I just couldn't manage. I'll now continue working on everything as I planed and will come back whenever the testing phase has gone well!
