Autumn is nearly here, though judging by the trees locally, they've already started shedding some of their yellow.
Cinders, as always, is on my mind during these months. She's in energetic mode doing harvesting, creating 'warm dens' for the denizens of her deific islands. Looking after a sick bird, and of course, checking up on her tree friends.
Hers is an island of spirits. It's not that all her friends are just ghosts and kobolds though (fine friends to have anyway), but it's a space for wayward souls that need care to end up. A place of solace and days of peace that in mortality they may never have known.
It's not to say she wouldn't also head to a café at the nearby town as well. Her and Berrand like nosing around for new crafts that come in. And of course, walk away with armfulls (Well, Berrand does, Cinders tends to run ahead because there's a new hat or porcelain dragon to bring home).
We wander, all of us, into the leaves. May they be extra crunchy for all.
