Well I can't say I've been more disappointed in a plate before. Highcom is a trusted brand and while these currently do NOT have an active CPL, they once did, and the M2AP hasn't changed since NIJ 04. Maybe the drop test cracked the ceramic and the front layer prevented us from hearing cracks?
The 1155 is superior if you can deal with a single curve and 8lb. Otherwise save up for the 4S17M, 1165. You could supplement these with a IIIA backer, but that's more weight and cost..
