Mira Tactical /Safety NIJ Level IV - Hesco 4403MC
DESCRIPTION

This is pretty much a standard run of the mill NIJ Level IV. It's multi-curve, but chonky at 7.7lb. They're using an E-glass backer, but the strike face is laminated. As per usual very little safety margin is built into the 2880+/- variance. I think this has pushed me to ensuring M2AP is now going to be loaded in .308 at an upper end loading to make sure we stay under the 2,910. For whatever reason, I've dialed back 300WM back a FULL 1.5gr from where I've started and the loads are not consistent. I should have been in spec with the last loading, but somehow my 66.9gr were faster than my 67.2gr of IMR-4350. I will continue to use the 300WM for the WinChad loads, but if I can consistently and safely do 2,880 in the 24", I think it's time to switch that load to .308

These are NIJ CPL'd: https://alnk.to/aWGa5dY

$279/each is a little steep for a 10"x12" in this model, as I've seen them listed for $400/set elsewhere
