As promised, here is the video of a grueling deposition in which I was interviewed by Bill Joiner's attorneys about my video and file storage process for a federal lawsuit in which they falsely claimed that I had violated the Federal Wiretap Act and intercepted Joiner's electronic communications. Once it was revealed in the Discovery process that I'd never done such a thing, the lawyers switched strategies and began arguing that I'd deliberately moved, deleted or otherwise hidden relevant case files in order to delete evidence of wiretapping. After this deposition, Joiner's lawyers voluntarily dismissed their own case in Federal court BEFORE trial in order to refile claims in California state court, re-initiating a costly litigation process that thanks to our donors, we are now able to fund without having to shut down operations at Channel 5. In this deposition, they spend over 2 hours trying to trip me up in service of a frivolous claim that was voluntarily dropped just months later. Enjoy!
