Hi folks,
Wishing you the very best for the coming week from everyone at Rusty Towers!
Firstly, a massive thank you to everyone who braved the hot weather last weekend to come and see Jonny, Alex and Helen at MCM Comic Con in London! It was a great day, despite the heat, and truly fantastic to see just so many of our fans turn up to hear the panel and attend the meet and greet. We are so grateful and thankful for our amazing community and seeing so many of you, including some in Magnus cosplay, is always incredibly special for us.
Don’t forget, there’s another opportunity to hear from Jonathan Sims and some of the Rusty Quill team this week at the UK Games Expo. UKGE is the UK’s largest tabletop games convention, and we are looking forward to attending with our friends and collaborators, Monte Cook Games and Indie Boards and Cards, to share their incredible games, The Magnus Archives Roleplaying Game and The Magnus Mysteries.
You can visit the Monte Cook Games stand (2-721) on Friday, Saturday or Sunday to demo and purchase both games, or come along to one of our panels. On Friday 29th May at 12:30, join us to take a deep dive into turning a podcast IP like The Magnus Archives into tabletop games, or on Sunday 31st May at 14:00 to watch a live play of The Magnus Archives Roleplaying Game.
Entry for both these panels are included in your UKGE entry ticket. To find out more, you can visit rustyquill.com/expo .
Finally, this week on the Magnus feed, we are sharing another incredible fan-written horror story from the Rusty Fears 7 writing competition. Roses is written by Abi Kinsella for the theme of Theatre, and is read by Anusia Battersby. As always, you can listen in early access on Tuesday 26th from 16:00 BST, or on the public feed on Thursday 28th from 16:00 BST.
Have a good week all!
The Rusty Quill team
