Hello everyone,
Every now and then I get bad weeks... and last week WAS NOT ONE OF THEM.
I was really productive. Monday and Tuesday were a bit slow because of IRL stuff unfortunately, but between Wednesday and Thursday I got 111 renders done. I’m very happy with those numbers. It went so well that the rest of the week felt pretty chill, and it gave me some time to focus on other things too.
When you’re locked in, flying through your script and getting renders done, it can sometimes feel like the creativity isn’t really there, even though I always try to switch up poses, make the backgrounds feel alive, and keep things visually interesting.
So yesterday afternoon and into the night, I decided to teach myself a few things and work on some tedious animations to use as transitions, and honestly it kind of lit that flame back up in me. I really enjoy learning new techniques and improving my animation skills, or just challenging myself, so that was a lot of fun.
Anyway, I’m back on the 3D render grind now and down to the last scene of this first "freeroam", which is only unlockable depending on your choices. After that, I’ll be moving on to the LEWD scene. I’m pretty excited to get to that one because I want to try some new things with it. I’m hoping I can finish both this last scene and the LEWD scene by the end of the week. I think that should be doable.
Anyway, let’s talk numbers:

The numbers are looking pretty good. That’s an extra 208 renders since last week, and I didn’t even push that hard today since I was working on animations instead.
Since those animations are a bunch of smaller pieces that build into one bigger cinematic cutscene, I’m only counting them as one for now. It’s still a work in progress, but it’s looking really good, and I’m happy with how much I keep improving.
As for the word count, we’re already sitting at about half of Season 1 between episode 4 and 5, so this season is definitely shaping up to be a chunky one.
Not much else to say this week. It’s been a pretty boring one in the best way possible, just good old hard work.
