Hello everyone,

First of all, Happy Easter to all of you! I hope you enjoyed it.

Last week was a good one. I managed to finish the parts I was working on last week, and I even took it a bit easier this Sunday.

As for progress on this event, I’d say I’m right on schedule. That said, this past month has been pretty eventful with a lot of real life stuff going on, so I’m hoping development will go even smoother from here on out.

I finished the LEWD scene sometime on Thursday, then made around 130 renders over the next three days. I’m really happy with that. I wanted to get those renders out of the way because they mark the end of the regular VN route after the first freeroam, so it felt like hitting a nice milestone.

To give you an idea of where things stand right now, here it is:

Now, this second freeroam also has a LEWD scene, along with some more emotionally charged scenes, so I’m going to be spending a fair amount of time on it. I’d say around three weeks, maybe a little more, but hopefully not.

Let’s talk numbers:

Static renders: 2,485Animations: 88Story content: 37 scenes written (32,413 words)

That’s an extra 8 animations and 186 renders since last week, so I’m very happy with that. Getting close to 200 renders during an animation-heavy week is no small feat for me.

Anyway, instead of jumping straight back into this event this week, I’m going to work on something completely different. I’ll be focusing on those animation transitions I mentioned before. I have something specific in mind, and it’s going to be a real challenge, which is exactly why I want to do it.

Because of that, I’m not expecting to make many renders this week, if any at all. It should also be a nice mental reset from this event. Working with the characters in outfits has been more difficult than I expected, with all the clipping and simulation involved, so I think it’ll do me good to step away for a bit and work on something else.

If everything goes well, I might have something to show for it in the next devlog. My queues have been pretty drained this past week. Working on animations means there aren’t many renders to refill them, and during the first four days the system was rendering like crazy. It really makes me wonder how many renders per day I’ll need to produce to keep up with the rendering power once I get my own place. I have about 180 renders left in the queue, and 7 animations, but it's literally about a week worth of rendering. Those PCs are crazy fast.

Anyway, that’s it for this update. I’m going to get back to work, and in the meantime, I hope you all have a great week.
