Greetings all, and welcome back to Quévanault! This is our penultimate release of the year. Please stay tuned for something a bit different and very cool in the next couple days. For now, let's take a look at the healthy wing of the boreal border fort!
Borough Guide
This guide begins with the second day the party spends in Quévanault. Velkoth reaches out to the party under the guise of "Fabré," an allegedly imprisoned healer somewhere in the fort. This will drive the party to explore, ask questions, and likely come into conflict with the Cedarwatch. Our borough guide provides an exhaustive list of rooms within the healthy wing and a handful of encounters for you to run as the party explores. Additionally, we have overviews for the fort's sage and chef, NPCs almost certain to come into conflict with one another.
Maps
The northeast corner of the fort is where most of the remaining healthy elves have their quarters. In the midst of the fort, there is a pleasant courtyard which is—naturally—off-limits to the party. For each of our Quévanault maps, we're providing a slew of variants: Winter, Summer, Swamp, Desert, Spooky, and Hell.
Yet again, we've created interior maps for the entire fort. Explore the guest chambers, soldier's quarters, chapel, and bedrooms for the chantréon and general. Combat is unlikely in these spaces, but they're the perfect sites for some deep roleplaying!
Music
Webs is lowkey mystery music. All parties will quickly deduce that something is off about Quévanault, but they won't likely know exactly what. Webs is the track you play to tell them "yeah, it's time to do some sleuthing." For a more stately, elven aesthetic, try out the Cedarwatch variant.
